About your Facilitator
Roselle P. O'Brien, M.A., ICAF
The creative arts, especially music, writing, visual arts, are at the essence of who I am and how I experience my world.
I studied music through the Preparatory School at the New England Conservatory of Music. I received my undergraduate degree in
Art/Fine Arts (and education) from Bridgewater State University. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Arts degree in Education, in Language Arts and Curriculum Design, a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing, and a diploma in nursing.
I have studied expressive and creative arts therapy, biblio/poetry therapy, spirituality in healing, storytelling, narrative and memoir writing, writing as a therapeutic modality. Over the past 30 years, I have worked as an expressive and creative arts facilitator, musician, performer, nurse, educator, program and curriculum designer, in my own businesses, for larger organizations and nonprofits, case manager, and consultant.
A lifetime of making art, of creating spaces to explore and share, alone and with others, continues to inspire and to drive me---to connect through the arts and use our creative expression for deeper clarity, deeper understanding, health, healing, and transformation.
